iPhone, iPad & Android phones
Swoop TV on your phone or tablet
A phone or tablet is handy in the kitchen, the bedroom or a hotel room. Keep in mind that the phone counts as a device: if someone will be watching the TV while you stream on your phone, pick a plan with two devices or more.
Before you start
- A iPhone, iPad & Android phones that is online
- The Swoop TV login shown in your dashboard. Not signed up? Grab a free trial first.
- A player app, for example: IPTV Smarters Pro, GSE Smart IPTV, IPTVX (iOS)
Setup, one step at a time
-
Download a player
Use the App Store on iPhone and iPad, or Google Play on Android, to install a player from the list on your dashboard.
-
Log in with the details from your dashboard
Pick “Xtream Codes” as the login method (a few players label it “Xtream API”). Copy the server URL, username and password exactly as your Swoop TV dashboard lists them. On the very first sign-in, give the app one to three minutes to pull in the channels and guide.
-
Send it to the TV if you want
Plenty of players can cast over AirPlay or Chromecast. Tap the cast button inside the player and choose your TV.

Off Wi-Fi?
Expect roughly 1.5 to 3 GB of data for every hour of HD. Drop the stream quality in the player’s settings when you are on cellular.
Questions about Phones & tablets setup
Can my phone and my TV both stream at once?
They can on any plan with two or more devices. With a single-device plan, stop the stream on one screen before you press play on the other.
How much cellular data will I burn?
Plan on about 1.5 to 3 GB per hour in HD. Stick to Wi-Fi when possible, or set the player to a lower quality.
Something not working?
Nine times out of ten, a restart of the player and the device, or a network cable, clears it up. For anything else, try these: speed and data you need , plans from 1 to 5 devices . Or write to support and tell us which device and player you are using.
