Picking a player app for Swoop TV
Think of Swoop TV as the signal and the player app as the screen you control it from. You are free to choose the one that runs best on your hardware. Below are our suggestions per device and the steps to log in.
Recommended player by device
Firestick and Fire TV
Start with IPTV Smarters Pro if you want simple, or go with TiviMate for the strongest guide. You install either one using the Downloader app.

Logging in to a player with your Swoop TV details
No matter which player you choose, it wants the same three pieces of information. They appear in your Swoop TV dashboard as soon as a trial or paid plan is running:
- Server URL, which some apps label “portal” or “host”
- Username
- Password
If the player lets you pick a login method, go with Xtream Codes (also shown as “Xtream API” or “Login with Xtream”). That single login loads your channel groups, guide data and movie library together. Fall back to the M3U link only when Xtream is not on offer. Our article on M3U vs Xtream Codes walks through the differences.
Enter everything slowly. A stray space after the password, or a server URL without http:// in front, causes most “invalid login” messages.
Can’t decide between two players?
Put both on your device. They run side by side without conflict, and a single evening of use usually settles the question. Viewers who flip through channels with the guide open often end up on TiviMate. Those who like the same clean layout on TV and phone tend to choose IPTV Smarters Pro.

App questions
Does Swoop TV make its own app?
It does not. You install a popular third-party player, or open the web player in a browser, and sign in with your Swoop TV details. The upside is freedom: use whichever player runs best on your hardware.
Can one login work in two different players?
Sure. TiviMate on the living-room TV and IPTV Smarters Pro on your phone can share the same login. Keep in mind that every screen playing at the same moment uses one of your device slots.
Will I have to buy the player?
Plenty of players cost nothing, and a few sell an optional premium version with extras like recording or several playlists. Any such fee goes to the app developer. Swoop TV does not charge for it.
