FAQ

Swoop TV FAQ

The Swoop TV IPTV questions that land in our inbox most, before and after the trial. If yours is missing, write to support and a team member will answer.

Trial & first steps

Where is the official Swoop TV website?

Right here. Swoop TV is sold only on swooptv.tv, and you may also see it spelled SwoopTV. If another site offered you a subscription under this name, message us before you send them any money.

How do I get the 24-hour free trial?

Sign up for a free account, then ask for the trial from your dashboard. Login details for one device show up there, and nobody asks for a card. Spend those 24 hours on the channels, games and guide you care about, using the screen you watch most.

What equipment is needed to watch?

Three things: a compatible device such as a Firestick, Android TV, Smart TV, Apple TV, phone, tablet or computer, a player app, and a steady internet connection. Each device has its own walkthrough in our setup guides.

How fast should my internet be for Swoop TV?

Count on roughly 10 Mbps per screen for HD, 20 Mbps for Full HD and at least 25 Mbps for 4K. Plugging in an Ethernet cable or moving to 5 GHz Wi-Fi usually helps more than anything else. Our IPTV speed guide goes deeper.

Pricing & payment

How many screens can watch at the same time?

That is up to you at checkout. Each plan comes in 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 simultaneous streams, and every added screen is cheaper than the previous one. Your login can sit on extra devices too, as long as no more than your limit are playing at once. The full grid is on the pricing page.

What changes once my payment goes through?

The plan is switched on for the same account you used for the trial, so your existing login keeps playing. Skipped the trial? Your login appears in the dashboard the moment the payment clears.

Can Canadians pay in CAD?

Our prices are set in USD. When you pay with a Canadian card, your bank or the payment processor converts the amount to CAD.

Are refunds available?

We offer the free trial precisely so you can check everything before paying. What happens after a purchase is covered in the refund policy.

Devices & player apps

Can I watch Swoop TV on a Firestick?

Yes, and it is the setup we help with most. The Firestick walkthrough gets most people watching in around ten minutes.

Can I watch in a web browser?

Yes. Open the web player from your dashboard in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. It suits laptops well and covers you while a TV player is still installing.

Which IPTV player works best with Swoop TV?

On TV devices, most customers go with TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro. IBO Player, XCIPTV and VLC also work. Our player app comparison lays out the differences.

Will my account work in the USA and Canada?

Yes. One account covers the whole of the USA and Canada. Each country has its own page: USA and Canada.

Help & fixes

A channel keeps buffering. What helps?

Close the player and restart the device, then test over a cable instead of Wi-Fi. The buffering fix list handles most cases. If a single channel still fails, email support and we will look at that source.

Why is my program guide blank?

Go to your player settings, choose the option to refresh or update the EPG, and give it a few minutes the first time. Further steps are in our EPG guide.

How can I reach Swoop TV support?

Send us an email or use the contact page. If you are signed in, the dashboard has a way to reach us as well.
