IPTV Smarters Pro and Swoop TV: setup on any screen

Swoop TV smarters – IPTV Smarters Pro login form on a Firestick, filled in with Swoop TV Xtream Codes details

Smarters is the player we point most newcomers to, because it runs almost everywhere and the login fits on one screen. This IPTV Smarters Pro setup guide for Swoop TV IPTV starts with the login itself, since that part is the same on every device, then covers getting the app onto your phone, Firestick or smart TV, the features worth a look, and the two error messages that account for most of our Swoop TV support emails about Smarters.

The login screen, field by field

Have your customer dashboard open on another screen. When Smarters launches for the first time it offers several sign-in methods. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API. It pulls in live channels, movies, series and the guide in one go.

Any Name. A label for this profile, nothing more. Living Room or Swoop is fine.

Username. Copy it from the dashboard. It is case-sensitive, and trial logins differ from paid ones, so use the current set.

Password. Also case-sensitive. Watch for a zero where you expected the letter O, and for a lowercase L that looks like a capital I.

URL. The server address from the dashboard. It should start with http:// and finish with the port if one is listed, such as :8080. No spaces, and no slash after the port.

Press Add User and give Smarters a minute to download the channel list, the movie and series libraries, and the guide.

When to use the M3U option instead

The Load Your Playlist or File/URL option accepts the M3U link from your dashboard. Name the playlist, select M3U URL and paste the whole link. It does work, but movies tend to arrive as one long list and the guide may need extra setup. Keep it as a fallback for when the Xtream screen will not connect. Our article on M3U and Xtream logins explains why Xtream is usually the better pick.

Getting the app on your device

Android phones and tablets. Google Play has IPTV Smarters Pro; install it from there.

iPhone and iPad. Look in the App Store for Smarters Player Lite, the iOS edition. The login screen matches the one above. If you want to cast from your phone to a TV, the mobile setup guide explains how.

Firestick. Smarters is not in the Amazon Appstore, so it goes on through Downloader using the link in your dashboard. Work through the Firestick setup guide until the app opens, then sign in as described above.

Samsung and LG TVs. Depending on model year and region, the TV’s built-in app store may list Smarters. If yours does not, IBO Player is the common substitute; the smart TV setup guide covers it.

Features worth a look

Once signed in you see a home screen with tiles for Live TV, Movies and Series, plus a few extras. Settings hide behind the gear icon at the top right.

Multi-Screen. Shows up to several live channels at once on a single display, handy for a big TV on a crowded sports night. Each window counts as its own stream, so two windows use two of your plan’s connections. If your plan covers a single device, that second window stays black. Your Swoop TV dashboard lists the device count for your plan.

Catch Up. Lists recent programs for channels that keep an archive. Choose the channel, then the date, then the show. Channels without an archive just do not appear here.

Parental Control. Under Settings → Parental Control, set a password the first time, then choose which Live TV, Movies and Series categories to lock. Anyone opening a locked category is asked for that password. The guide to kid-safe IPTV setup shows how to pair this with your TV’s own lock.

Player and buffer. In settings you can change the internal player and raise the buffer size. If live TV stutters over Wi-Fi, try a larger buffer before anything else.

Error: “Invalid username or password”

This message rarely means something is wrong with the account. Work down the list:

  1. Re-enter the username and password straight from the dashboard, not from an old email or your memory.
  2. Inspect the URL. A missing http://, a dropped port or a slash at the end each trigger this exact message.
  3. Delete any space at the end of a field. Phone keyboards often slip one in automatically.
  4. Confirm in the dashboard that your trial or plan is still active.
  5. Sign in to the Swoop TV web player with the same details. If it plays there, recheck what you entered in Smarters.

Error: “No data found”

Here the login succeeded but a list came back empty. The usual reasons:

  • Interrupted first download. Reload from the home screen, or sign out and back in.
  • Locked categories. If parental control hides several categories, everything can look empty. Review those settings.
  • Wrong date or time. The guide depends on the device clock. Turn on automatic date and time.
  • Stale cache. In the Android or Fire TV system settings, clear the app’s cache. Avoid clearing data, which removes your profile.

Still not signing in

As a final step, uninstall Smarters, reinstall it and sign in with freshly copied details. If that fails, contact Swoop TV support and include your device, the exact error text and a picture of the filled-in sign-in form, password hidden. One or two emails normally sort it out.

Common questions

Does Swoop TV make IPTV Smarters Pro?

No. Smarters comes from an independent developer. Swoop TV provides the channels and the login details, and Smarters is one of several compatible players you can use with them.

How many devices can I save my login on?

As many as you want. Your plan limits how many streams play at the same moment, not how many phones or TVs remember the login.

Movies load fine, but live channels do not. Why?

Usually the live list did not finish downloading, or one channel or category is temporarily down. Reload from the home screen, try a different live channel, and contact support if it continues.
